The Walt Disney Animated Studios canon has arrived on 4K Blu-ray in the UK at long last! The collection begins with possibly their most popular 2D animated movie of all time, The Lion King. Most likely released first to capitalise on their upcoming remake of the movie next summer.

Does the 4K presentation benefit the movie in any meaningful way for fans to consider the upgrade? Is there any new bonus content for this release? Are the clouds missing from the final Mufasa scene restored in this release? Watch my unboxing and review video to find out all of these answers and more!

NOTE: In a rapidly diminishing Blu-ray 3D market in the UK, this may be one of the last Blu-ray 3D releases from Disney if the lack of a 3D release of Ralph Breaks the Internet is anything to go by. Let's support 3D Blu-ray for as long as we can, guys!

Anyways, the newest MCU movie has arrived on Blu-ray 3D! After a long delay due to the alternate release date overseas, you can finally check out my unboxing video here!
